Regardless of the turn over to Windows Phone 7, Nokia will still dispatch a MeeGo device this year. It’s going to be the descendant to the Nokia N900 and will be entitled as the N950. Snapshots of the device aren’t yet on hand, but Nokia conferred encouragements that they are steadfast to MeeGo on the same hand their traditional Symbian, Qt and S40 as well.

What’s new with this device has been stated by CTO Rich Green at Nokia’s Developer Day that there platform is working with devotion on the N950 and has procured some “exceptionally well-designed” hardware integration and appealing User Interface.

With this news emerged, you may be thinking that what happened to the highly rumored upcoming MeeGo operated device namely the Nokia N9, then it might have been disregarded, on the other hand Nokia didn’t come up with any of their devices at the MWC event which was held this year.

Green guaranteed the present developers that the Nokia N950 is in a good hoard as a developer platform and made a statement that “we’ll see how that goes”. Whereas an additional update came along that Nokia’s line of attack will still rely on Qt development for in collaboration Symbian and MeeGo and approaching to the fore with Java on Series 40, so progress on those platforms persists. S40 will be endowing with a new-fangled OVI Browser that endeavors to bridge the gap between Mobile Internet and its users.
